KRAFT FOODS OFFICE & DOCK EXPANSION

Project Scope:

Seals/Biehle and Kraft Foods Inc. teamed up as Kraft embarked upon a major expansion and renovation at their Tulare plant. This extensive project has many phases but most recently, Seals/Biehle completed a dock expansion as well as the construction of a new office building.  
The 1,500 square foot office building consisted of a raised concrete masonry unit (CMU) foundation, wood framing, metal siding and a full sprinkler installation. The new office will serve as the logistical hub for tracking and routing of all freight that go in and out of the Kraft Foods Tulare plant. Additionally, Seals/Biehle completed a dock expansion which consisted of two new adjustable dock pits with roll-up coiling doors and modifications to an existing covered canopy.
